Food & dietary needs

A mostly vegetarian lunch is provided. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please bring alternatives to supplement.

Who It’s For

Everyone is welcome.

This retreat is open to everyone — beginners, experienced meditators, students, professionals, and families. Instructions are provided throughout, so a prior practice isn’t required. If it is your first time at a retreat, please read What to Expect before the day.

Meditation Methods

What you will practise.

Present Moment Awareness

Present moment awareness is the practice of fully being here, right now. The past is already over, and the future has not yet come. Life is only happening in this moment. By paying attention to the present with calmness and clarity, we can experience more peace, wisdom, and happiness.

Breathing Meditation

Follow the natural rhythm of the breath — in and out — as a means to still the mind and develop deep concentration. As attention settles, mental noise gradually fades, revealing an underlying stillness and clarity.

Walking Meditation

Walking meditation is the practice of cultivating deep mindfulness by making the physical movement of walking your primary object of focus, offering a dynamic alternative to traditional sitting meditation.

Loving-Kindness Meditation

Cultivate boundless goodwill and compassion — first toward yourself, then gradually extending to loved ones, strangers, and all living beings. This heart-centred practice dissolves ill-will and nurtures a warm, open-hearted presence.

Impermanence Meditation

Embrace the wisdom of impermanence, recognising the transient nature of all things. This guides you to let go of thoughts, emotions, and sensations without attachment, fostering a sense of equanimity and acceptance of life's ever-changing nature.
