Study & Reflect

Lending library.

The monastery keeps a lending and reference library of Buddhist texts and scriptures — free for visitors and community members to browse and borrow. If you’re drawn to study the Dhamma at your own pace, this is a good place to begin.

What’s Inside

The collection.

The Pāli Canon in English

A complete collection of the Pāli scriptures translated into clear, modern English — the actual words of the Buddha and his early disciples.

Dhamma books

Writings on meditation, merit, monastic life, and the application of the teachings to everyday concerns.

Reference works

Commentaries, dictionaries, and study aids for those going deeper into Pāli, the suttas, or the Abhidhamma.

Two Ways

How to borrow.

At the monastery

Visit during our open hours or after a program. A monk or volunteer can help you find something that matches what you’re curious about.

At monthly retreats

We bring a portion of the collection to each day-long retreat so attendees can browse and borrow on the spot.
